We got ready and tried Cabanas today for breakfast. It has some more choices than the Enchanted Garden but it was so busy.
We went right down to the aft gangway and off the ship. Rick ran back to the room because he forgot something. The girls and I stood in line and met Daisy Duck.
Then we went into the Castaway Cay post office and purchased two Bahamas stamps for 65 cents each. The girls each wrote out their postcards and deposited their mail.
We still didn't see Rick, so we got on the tram to the family beach. We found Minnie Mouse and got a beach photo with her.
Rick finally found us and we found some nice beach chairs near the lifeguard to set down our things. We all went in the (cold) water but I went and sat on the sand after a while.
The kids tried out Scuttle's water play area but were bored so we went and had our lunch at Cookie's BBQ followed by some ice cream. We shot some hoops and played a family game of Foosball -- Rick and Caitlin vs. Alexa and me.
We were tired and hot, so we picked up our things and took the tram back to the ship.
We went up to the pool deck and Caitlin and I went to the Mickey pool. Caitlin was very brave and went down the Mickey slide on her belly (feet first) all by herself.
She played for a little while in Nemo's Reef and then she was so brave she asked to go on the AquaDuck.
Then Alexa and Rick met us in the Mickey pool. Alexa was too scared to try the slide or AquaDuck (although she later told us she was warming up and we didn't give her enough time!).
We grabbed an ice cream cone then went back to the room to get ready for dinner. It was pirate night so we all put on our best pirate gear. Caitlin waited in line to meet pirate Minnie while Alexa and Rick finished solving the special mystery.
After our special pirate dinner, we went up on deck to see the special Mickey pirate show. Mickey easily defeated Captain Hook, we became part of Mickey's crew, and we had a great time.
Caitlin and I went back to the room to watch Toy Story 2 and go to sleep. Alexa and Rick went back up to the fireworks show - the only one at sea - and to the club pirate dance party. Then it was time for bed.
