While in Lake Placid, we drove a few miles to the base of Whiteface Mountain and went to Santa's Workshop at North Pole, NY. I remember going there as a little girl and thought Alexa and Caitlin would enjoy it. We all had fun but Caitlin was a big girl going on rides - she even went on a little roller coaster with me that Alexa was afraid to go on! When they stopped it to let some scared kids off, she was yelling at them to go again.
