A Night Out

Rick and I had a night out without the kids. We went to a Gala in support of our local hospital. Rick was feeling sick with a cold but he made it through the night.

First we had cocktails and a silent auction. We won (at a great discount) a family membership to the Y. We've been sending Alexa there for swim lessons and now we'll get member rates. (And free swim lessons if she keeps perfect attendance in the previous session).

We had our photos taken by a pro photographer and then we had a nice dinner of steak and lobster thermador. There was a band, dancing, basket raffles and a neat tarot card raffle to win a $4k diamond necklace, but we didn't win!

Forgot to take a photo before we went out, so this is a last minute photo once we came home for the evening.
