Day 2: Heading "Home" to Old Key West Resort

We left Tampa and headed to Orlando and checked into Old Key West. Since we are owners, the cast members make sure to welcome us "home." More fitting for me, perhaps, because I did call Orlando home for a few years when I was in grad school.

Our room wasn't quite ready, so we spent some time in the Community Hall. Alexa challenged Grandmama to checkers and air hockey. Rick, Grandpa Bob and I played darts and some pool. Caitlin played in the baby toy area and had a great time. We stayed for a few rounds of kid bingo but we didn't win.

After finding our villa, Grandmama and I went out grocery shopping, Caitlin napped, and Alexa and Grandpa Bob spent a few hours in the pool. Alexa's swimming skills are really improving.

We had a nice dinner at Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney, the girls rode the carousel, we each purchased our trip pins for our lanyards, and enjoyed some popcorn before returning to our rooms.
