Alexa received her first 3rd grade report card today and I had a parent-teacher conference. Alexa is doing very well in school but we worry that they aren't challenging her. Hopefully, we can work with her at home to keep her challenged, especially in reading.
Rescue Mission
Alexa and her Girl Scout troop volunteered today for the first time at the Rescue Mission for the homeless and those in need. They made 50 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, cleaned the kitchen and the dining area, and donated both food and health/beauty products that were needed. They all had fun and can't wait to go back again.
