A Day at the Museum

The girls and I took a ride on the train into New York City to meet up with Aunt Lori and some of our friends at the American Museum of Natural History. We had a great day!

After we left Lynne and Alex, we went to dinner with my sister Lori at a little mexican place just across from the museum. I didn't want to mess with the buses and making changes after dark because I'm not that familiar so we hailed a cab. Caitlin was so funny. She was narrating the whole time. "This mister stopped and picked us up. Mister is taking us for a ride in his car..."

The girls in Grand Central. (I was afraid to let them get too far away for a photo since it was so busy)

We just missed the 6:02 train and they added a 6:09 train that we made but it was Express-Express and only made about 6 stops. It stopped at the station before ours (Brewster vs Brewster North aka Southeast) which is only a mile or so between stations. Luckily grandmama had just gotten home from dinner after her early train and was able to pick us up and drop me off to get my car. It was almost 8pm by the time we got home and the girls were exhausted, including me!
