A Rainy Day at the Carnival

Daddy came home from his business trip last night and we were all happy to see him. Of course, the lawn really needed to be mowed today. Then we stopped and picked each of the girls up a new pair of shoes.

We decided to head over to our local Catholic school's carnival this afternoon. We played a few games, had some lunch, Alexa got on a ride, and then we got stuck in a downpour, with thunder & lightning! It didn't look like we'd be able to ride it out, so off we ran to the car, getting soaked along the way. We looked like a pack of drowned rats!
