We were so happy to meet her and had no idea what to expect.

She had a little mark on her cheek because her hand came out on with her head. I definitely felt that later!
After Alexa was born, there was a tornado warning near the hospital and we were all evacuated to various parts of the hospital. Rick and I were taken to an inner surgical area, Alexa who was already in the nursery was taken in a special baby smock into an inner hallway, and our guests were all ushered into a stairwell.
After I got back to my room and the epidural wore off, I tried to (painfully) go to the bathroom and I passed out on the way back to the bed. It was definitely an eventful day!
